Although in appearance the air cushion will look like ordinary bubble wrap, it far exceeds the normal bursting strength of typical bubble wrap. It is not made like regular polypropylene plastic bubble wrap you would buy at the package store. This material is factory molded and layered with an impregnated Nylon Barrier which gives it its' incredible strength. It has been manufactured to specifications capable of withstanding up to 300 lbs of pressure per layer without bursting. Each package comes with a roll of pre-measured impact cushion enough to wrap around a standard 8ft Lally Column twice (two layers). It is perforated at the appropriate length for easy tearing and installation.
